Mariners Triumph in Style!
What a game, Mariners fans!
Our Seattle Mariners outshone the Los Angeles Angels with a convincing 7-2 victory! From stellar homers to strategic steals, the Mariners put on quite the performance.Early Innings Drama
The game remained scoreless in the first inning, but the Angels drew first blood in the bottom of the 2nd with a solo homer by Taylor Ward. But no worries, Julio Rodríguez fired back with a 422-foot homer in the 3rd, tying the game 1-1! Randy Arozarena then made his presence felt with a towering 411-foot homer in the 4th, putting us in the lead 2-1.
Taking Command in the Sixth
After an Angels sac fly tied it up at 2-2 in the 5th, Cal Raleigh crushed a homer in the top of the 6th, putting us back in front, 3-2. That's when the floodgates opened: Dominic Canzone stepped up with a timely two-run single after a series of walks, and an Angels error handed us another run! We ended that inning with a 6-2 lead, bolstered by some clutch plays!
️Sealing the Deal
Ben Williamson drove Jorge Polanco home with a single in the 8th, adding another insurance run. The bullpen was rock solid, with Vargas closing things out in the 9th. The Angels couldn't rally as the Mariners defense shut them down completely. Mariners win it 7-2, a hard-fought and well-deserved victory!
