Tough Day at Petco Park
Hey Padres fans, it was a challenging night for our beloved San Diego Padres as we faced the Seattle Mariners
. From the first pitch to the last out, our guys fought hard but unfortunately couldn't turn the tide in our favor. J.P. Crawford started things off with a bang for the Mariners—homering right out of the gate 
.A Glimmer of Hope
We saw some solid performances from our roster despite the overall outcome. Luis Arraez was relentless, snagging hits all over the field, including a single and a late-inning double. Jake Cronenworth also brought some life with a triple in the fourth inning and drove in our only run with a clutch double in the ninth
. Hats off to these guys for showing grit!Looking Ahead
Unfortunately, the combination of home runs from Rowdy Tellez and Cal Raleigh proved too much to overcome. The Mariners' bullpen did an excellent job keeping our lineup quiet through most of the match. Final score: 5-1 Mariners. Let's keep our spirits high, Padres faithful! We all know ups and downs are part of baseball. This team has heart, and there's no doubt they’ll come back stronger
