A Triumph at the Rogers Centre 
What an exciting night for us, Toronto Blue Jays fans, as we celebrated a robust 6-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners! The game started off slow with both teams keeping each other in check for the first inning. Kudos to our boys for holding the Mariners scoreless in those crucial early innings—a testament to their solid defense! 
Early Momentum
The bottom of the second inning is where the magic started. Daulton Varsho knocked a single to center, taking advantage of a fielding error from Rodríguez and setting up our first scoring position. Ernie Clement reached base thanks to an error by Suárez, and then Addison Barger brought Varsho home with a single to right. Barger wasn’t done yet, as he continued to shine with a homer in the third inning, quickly stretching our lead with Clement already in position after his beautiful triple.
Sealing the Deal
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. joined the party with a stunning home run to left field in the fifth inning—his performance truly lights up the team and ignites the enthusiasm in every Jays fan. Not only did Vlad Jr. show off the power, but he also displayed great resilience when he was hit by a pitch in the seventh inning. Even then, he managed to score as a result of Seattle’s errors, proving once again why he’s such a crucial part of our team!
Relentless Offensive and Defensive Plays 
The bullpen did its thing, keeping the Mariners at bay. Hoffman, Yesavage, and Varland relentlessly struck out Mariners, while Isiah Kiner-Falefa and the rest of the infield prevented any attempts by the Mariners to gain momentum. Finishing things off, despite the slight offense from Seattle in the 6th inning, the Blue Jays defense remained rock-solid. Wrapping Up Victorious 
As the final out was recorded with Nathan Lukes making several fantastic plays in right field, we could breathe a sigh of victory and celebrate the skill and camaraderie demonstrated on the field today. Teamwork, dynamism, and those electric bats! The cheers of enthusiastic Jays supporters combined with this well-earned win filled the stadium with energy that promises a bright season ahead. Go Jays Go!
