Tough Battle in Atlanta
Despite a valiant effort from our St. Louis Cardinals, the boys couldn't hold on against the Braves, falling 6-7 in a hard-fought game at Truist Park.Great Start but Heartbreaking Ending
The Cards kicked off strong in the second inning, with Nolan Gorman doubling to center before a throwing error from the Braves let Pedro Pagés cross home plate. Big props to Victor Scott II for reaching base and then stealing second, eventually scoring to give the Cards a solid 2-0 lead.
Throughout the game, our pitching staff worked hard to keep the Braves at bay. They managed to keep Atlanta scoreless until the third inning when a homer by Austin Riley tied things up. But hey, Arenado's double followed by Gorman's clutch single later put us back on top, 3-2, in the sixth!
Down to the Wire in the 9th
It all came down to the ninth inning. With the Cards trailing 7-3 after a tough eighth, Pedro Pagés knocked a ground-rule double before Victor Scott II drove him in with another double.

The rally was real, but despite Brendan Donovan's walk and Nolan Arenado's strong at-bat, we just couldn't quite make it. It was a nail-biting finish, but the Braves managed to hang on to their lead.
Proud of Our Team
A tough loss, but it's games like these that remind us of why we love baseball. Shoutout to the entire roster for playing with heart and determination throughout the entire game.
