Tough Loss in Atlanta

Hey, Cards family! 😊 It was a rollercoaster in Atlanta tonight as we faced the Braves. We jumped into action right in the first inning with Nolan Arenado doubling to left and bringing Nolan Gorman home for an early 1-0 lead. Our boys were looking good, keeping that edge through several innings as Miles Mikolas held the Braves scoreless. The tension was high, and our hopes were soaring!

Unlucky Seventh Inning

Things took a turn in the 7th inning when Atlanta found their rhythm. After Michael Harris II brought Nick Allen home to even out the score, our relievers tried to keep everything under control. Unfortunately, the Braves kept pushing, and Eli White's homer in the 8th knocked three in, turning the tables on us. It happened so fast, and before we knew it, they were up 4-1.

Final Push

Our last chance came in the 9th but couldn't pull off the heroic ending we all wanted. A shoutout goes to Alec Burleson for his effort, adding singles here and there, and to Masyn Winn for a late single trying to spark a comeback. But as much as we wanted it, the cards just didn't fall in our favor tonight. Let's regroup and get ready for the next one, Cards fans! 💪🔴 Keep the faith!
