What a game, fellow Cubbies fans! The Chicago Cubs obliterated the St. Louis Cardinals 12-1 today at Wrigley Field with a masterclass of hitting and pitching. The libs of Wrigley were out in full cheer, basking in the glory of a decisive Cubs victory! 
Hoerner's Heroics 
The action kicked off in the bottom of the 1st inning when Nico Hoerner treated us to a homer that soared a solid 412 feet right over center field. It set the tone for a game that was all about the Cubs' dominance. Hoerner was relentless and ended up being quite the offensive powerhouse for us, making significant contributions throughout the game.Power Show: Crow-Armstrong, Busch, and More! 
The spectacle continued with Pete Crow-Armstrong launching a massive two-run homer in the 4th inning, expanding our lead. Not to forget, Michael Busch blasted a majestic shot in the 5th inning, sending the ball 414 feet to center.But the 7th inning was where the real fireworks happened! Seiya Suzuki sent the crowd into a frenzy with a grand slam that soared 392 feet, bringing in three other Cubs to score. Big cheers for him, as his homer drove in the majority of our stunning run count!
Dominant on the Mound: Cubs' All-Star Arms 
Kudos to our pitching staff, who effectively silenced the Cardinals' bats all night! We tip our caps to the likes of Thielbar, Kittredge, Palencia, and Keller for maintaining a tight defense. The only blemish was a single Cardinals' run in the 7th, but hey, our boys handled it like champs. K's and pop-ups all night! 
Offensive Barrage: Hits Keep Coming! 
Apart from the homers, Dansby Swanson and Matt Shaw made their presence felt. Swanson kept things moving with a timely walk and steal, setting up Shaw for a triple to left, scoring Swanson. Our lineup was lit with hit after hit, resulting in a commanding Cubs performance.With contributions across the board - from starters to the bullpen - this game was a quintessential showcase of Cubs might. The Cubs looked unstoppable and reminded us all how exhilarating baseball can be when the team brings their A-game. Let's celebrate this fantastic win and keep riding this momentum.
