A Dominant Start
Our beloved St. Louis Cardinals kicked off the game against the Cleveland Guardians with a bang!
In the very first inning, Masyn Winn walked, and Willson Contreras followed with a single, setting the stage for Nolan Gorman's phenomenal three-run homer to right-center field! This blast gave the Cardinals an early 3-0 lead and set the tone for the rest of the game. 
Maintaining the Lead
Throughout the middle innings, our pitching and defense were stellar, holding the Guardians scoreless. Victor Scott II made an excellent contribution in the 7th inning with a two-run homer, extending our lead to 5-0. Pedro Pagés also made an impact by scoring Jose Fermín on a sacrifice fly following a fielding mishap, and Garrett Hampson brought in Nolan Gorman with a single, further solidifying our position with a comfortable 7-0 lead.
Sealing the Victory
Our bullpen was lights-out, keeping the Guardians at bay until the end. O'Brien and King took the mound in the final innings. Despite a few baserunners, our defense backed them up, ensuring no runs crossed the plate. With another spectacular outing, the Cardinals claim a decisive 7-0 win against the Guardians.
