A Strong Start for the Rockies
Wow, what a game! The Colorado Rockies come out on top in an incredible matchup against the St. Louis Cardinals with a final score of 8-4 here at Coors Field.

️ Right from the start, the Rockies brought the heat. In the bottom of the first inning,
Mickey Moniak set the tone by launching a massive 450-foot homer to right field, putting us on the board. That was definitely a blast that'll be remembered!
Dominant Performance Boosting the Score
The second and third innings were just as thrilling.
Adael Amador doubled in the second inning, bringing both
Ryan McMahon and
Brenton Doyle home to give us a solid lead of 3-0. And speaking of
Ryan McMahon, in the third inning, he unleashed a powerful 410-foot home run to left-center, adding three more runs to our score as
Mickey Moniak and
Jordan Beck crossed the plate.
Holding Steady to the End
Though the Cardinals tried to claw their way back, the Rockies pitching truly came through with crucial outs at the right moments to halt them in their tracks.
Brenton Doyle showed off his speed with a well-timed single in the fifth inning, allowing
Ezequiel Tovar to score. In the eighth, a little bit of a scuffle ensued, but the Rockies managed to add insurance with
Mickey Moniak walking, forcing in a run. Our bullpen held strong all night, and a big shoutout goes to
Tyler Freeman and the relief pitching squad for keeping the Cards at bay. All in all, an epic effort from our Colorado Rockies to secure this win!

So proud to be a Rockies fan! Let's keep up this momentum into the next games!
