The Thrilling Victory
Wow, what a game!
The Milwaukee Brewers emerged victorious in a nail-biter against the St. Louis Cardinals. We won 3-2, with a tightly-contested match that saw some incredible moments from our guys. A big shoutout to Christian Yelich, who brought us that crucial, game-changing home run in the fourth inning. That 390-foot blast to left center tied the game, giving us the momentum we needed! 
Big Plays and Key Moments
After the Cardinals’ brief lead, our guys pulled ahead in the bottom of the fourth, thanks to Rhys Hoskins and a stellar sacrifice fly from Drew Avans. Brice Turang also contributed early in the game with a double that displayed our depth and determination. Then, in the seventh, Sal Frelick got in on the action with a well-placed grounder that brought Caleb Durbin home, sealing the deal for us. Every play counted and it was clear our boys were locked in.
Closing it Out
In the eighth, the Cardinals tried to claw back with a home run from Ivan Herrera, but our bullpen came up huge. Colin Mears and Trevor Megill held on strong in the final two innings. Despite some tense moments, particularly with runners in scoring position during the ninth, Megill and the crew showed nerves of steel. When Masyn Winn went down swinging for the final out, the victory was ours!
