Early Cardinals Surge
What a thrilling game, Cardinals fans!

As we faced off against the San Francisco Giants, the top of the first inning set a fiery pace with
Brendan Donovan doubling to right, followed by
Ivan Herrera and
Alec Burleson delighting us with back-to-back singles to put the first run on the board.

Then, a great hustle and grounding by
Nolan Arenado helped push our lead to 2-0, and
Lars Nootbaar and
Thomas Saggese kept the momentum going, culminating in 3 runs right off the bat!
Giants Fight Back
Unfortunately, we hit a bit of turbulence in the third inning.

A throwing error by
Arenado set up a rally for the Giants, who managed to turn the tables, putting them ahead 5-3. The fifth inning deepened the challenge as the Giants doubled their lead to 7-3, and a home run in the sixth by Ramos put us in an 8-3 hole.
The Comeback Team
Never underestimate the Cardinals' spirit!

The seventh inning turned the game around, ignited by the incredible three-run homer from
Herrera that rocketed us back into the contest 8-6.
Arenado kept the rally alive with a thriller homer that cut the gap to one. The ninth was our shining moment, with the resilient
Donovan doubling in
Victor Scott II to tie it up, and thanks to
Burleson’s clutch single,
Jose Fermín dashed home with the winning run.
Closing It Out
A tense bottom of the ninth was expertly handled!
JoJo Romero and
O'Brien managed to keep the late pressure from the Giants at bay, securing our St. Louis Cardinals a glamorous 9-8 victory! Hats off to the team for that epic resilience and to all the fans—this one's for us!
