What a night for our Texas Rangers as they displayed a remarkable performance to defeat the St. Louis Cardinals with a landslide 11-1 victory! It was an incredible team effort led by stellar plays and smart base running. 
Early Lead and Explosive Scoring! 
Our boys started strong in the 1st inning with Sam Haggerty taking advantage of a throwing error to get on base, setting up Josh Jung to bring him home with a line drive to left, giving us an early 1-0 lead. The 2nd inning was where the magic truly happened, with Sam Haggerty blasting a triple and Wyatt Langford launching a two-run homer to extend the lead to 5-0. The offense just couldn't be stopped! 
Tight Defense and Commanding Pitching 
The defense held strong all game. Leiter, Armstrong, and Boushley kept the Cardinals at bay, allowing only 1 run throughout the game. Our infield delivered some remarkable plays, with Ezequiel Duran helping turn a crucial double play, and Marcus Semien's athleticism coming through with important plays, including a solo homer in the 7th inning that added to the impressive score! Closing it Out in Style 
The Cardinals managed just one run in the 8th inning, but our Rangers answered back with a commanding close out by Boushley. The defense kept the pressure on, ensuring we finished the game with no room for a St. Louis comeback. Meanwhile, players like Marcus Semien and Sam Haggerty shone, repeatedly finding ways to get on base and score, demonstrating the depth and versatility of the lineup.
