Hey D-backs fans! What a game last night!
Here's how the Diamondbacks showed the Tampa Bay Rays how baseball is played in Arizona.
The Rays managed to put a run on the board in the second inning when Mangum drove in Misner, but Pavin Smith wasn't having any of it! In the third inning, after Corbin Carroll got us going with a ground-rule double, Smith launched a 420-foot homer to deep right, bringing home Carroll and giving us a 2-1 lead.

Our defense was top-notch, with no runs allowed from the fourth to the ninth inning, ensuring the Rays couldn't gain any momentum.

Morillo came in relief and closed it down with style in the 9th. The double play initiated by Eugenio Suarez was the cherry on top of this sweet victory.
Five runs in a brilliant team effort to seal a 5-1 win against a competitive Rays team!
We sure made our hearts swell with pride. Let's keep this momentum going, team! Go D-backs!

Early Innings
We had a bit of a slow start, but that's just part of the strategy, right?

Mid-Game Control
As we moved into the 5th inning, the bats kept sizzling! Big shoutout to Tim Tawa for smashing a solo homer to left field (387 feet) to extend the lead to 3-1! And can we talk about our pitchers keeping it locked down on the mound?

Securing the Win
The 8th inning was when we truly iced the game! Josh Naylor and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. stepped up big-time when it mattered. Naylor's single brought Carroll home, and Gurriel's sac fly brought another run, extending our lead to 5-1. From then on, it was lights out for the Rays!
