A Strong Start for the Mariners
What a spectacular evening for the Seattle Mariners as they clinched a 6-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays, bringing Cascadia cheer to T-Mobile Park!
Right from the bottom of the first inning, excitement filled the air as Cal Raleigh crushed a majestic 376-foot homer, sending Randy Arozarena home and setting the tone for what would be an exhilarating match. The Mariners came out swinging, with Eugenio Suarez's timely single adding another two runs to the board. Who doesn't love a first inning like that?

Rays Fight Back but Mariners Hold Strong
Though the Rays did their best to claw back, narrowing the Mariners' lead to a mere run by the end of the fourth inning, our pitching staff showed sheer determination. Initially, the Rays found some momentum with Ha-Seong Kim's solo homer in the fourth, but our boys in blue never wavered. Mariners’ hurlers held tight, with solid efforts by both the starter and bullpen, keeping the Rays at bay and their rallies contained.
Closing it Out Like Champs
The bottom of the 7th and 8th saw the Mariners flexing their might once more.
️Josh Naylor delivered a solo blast to right, increasing our lead and sparking further joy in the stands. By the 8th, the unstoppable Dominic Canzone brought Jorge Polanco home to score, further cementing the Mariners' lead. Our bullpen made sure the Rays were met with silence in the top half of the 9th, with Matt Brash finishing off strong! Let's relish this thrilling victory as it stands as proof of our Mariners' heart and determination. Onward to the next!
