The game commenced with both defenses holding strong. Our pitching staff held the Rangers to a scoreless first inning, with Smith, Seager, and Semien each put away efficiently. The second inning saw the Mariners claim an early lead, courtesy of some strategic walks and the efforts of Eugenio Suárez, Jorge Polanco, and Cole Young. The Rangers returned the favor in the third inning, capitalizing on a rare fielding error, which allowed them to drive in a couple of runs and take the lead 3-1. Though our boys struggled a bit through the middle innings, we stayed resilient, showing some sparks of hope in the bottom of the 5th as Josh Naylor knocked in a crucial double, bringing home Cole Young and chopping the Rangers' lead down to one.A Dramatic Finish: Crawford’s Heroics in the 9th! 
The real magic sparkled in the bottom of the 9th inning. With Dominic Canzone leading off with a single and Miles Mastrobuoni pinch-running, the stage was set. It was then that J.P. Crawford delivered a dream finish, launching a homer into right field, driving in two runs and sealing a stunning 4-3 victory for our beloved Mariners. Overall, it was a display of determination and a reminder of why we love the game. The courage and tenacity of J.P. Crawford and the team gave us a night to remember. Way to go, Mariners!
