Tough Loss for the Rangers
Our Texas Rangers were out in Seattle taking on the Mariners. The game was a nail-biter from start to finish, but unfortunately, we came up just short with a final score of 4-3 in favor of the Mariners.
Highlights and Heartbreaks
The boys had an explosive 3rd inning, thanks to some clutch performances. Joc Pederson was hit by a pitch, setting the stage for Rowdy Tellez to make the most of a fielding error, allowing Pederson to come home.
Not long after, Josh Smith stepped up with a key single to bring Tellez in for a run. Big props to Marcus Semien as well, who doubled to center, pushing Smith across the plate. That had us up 3-1—a moment of hope! 
Rangers' Resilience
We held our own on defense, with our pitchers striking out several batters—including a solid relief performance by Milner and Coulombe. The heart and spirit were there, but the Mariners' J.P. Crawford delivered a devastating hit in the 9th inning with a home run that shattered our lead, bringing in two runs to end the game 4-3. Ouch.
Rematch on Our Minds
Even in the face of adversity, our Rangers stuck it out, and there were certainly moments of excitement and promise! We've got our eyes set on the next matchup. Let’s rally for a comeback win—Go Rangers!
