Blue Jays' Early Lead Sets the Tone!

Our Toronto Blue Jays wasted no time putting runs on the board against the Cleveland Guardians at the top of the 1st inning. Bo Bichette got us started with a single, swiftly followed by an electric double from Ernie Clement that sent Bichette home. Then Alejandro Kirk kept the momentum rolling with a single, allowing Clement to score, making it 2-0. 
Middle Innings Control the Game 
Our team continued to bring the heat as George Springer capitalized on a Guardians fielding error, pushing our lead to 3-0 in the 4th inning. In the 5th, Kirk once again delivered, driving in Clement to extend the score to 4-0. The Guardians managed to scratch one back, with Carlos Santana homering in the 6th, but our team wasn’t rattled. By the end of the 6th, it was still a comfortable 4-1 in our favor.Exciting Finish in the Final Innings 
The 7th inning saw Lane Thomas moving the Guardians a bit closer with a homer, narrowing our lead to 6-4. But then, Springer crushed any hopes of a comeback with a monumental 421-foot grand slam in the 8th, bringing in Clement, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., and Kirk (now 10-4)! Even as the Guardians added one more in the bottom of the 8th and a solo home run from Kyle Manzardo in the 9th, we held our ground. The final score of 10-6 reflects a valiant team effort and great determination!Way to go, Blue Jays! Let's carry this momentum into the next match-up!
