Tough Night in Detroit
Fellow Tigers fans, we faced a challenging night against the Toronto Blue Jays and unfortunately, it didn't go our way. The final score was 6-1, with the Blue Jays bagging the win.
Struggles on the Mound and Plate
Right from the start, both teams fought tooth and nail to get a score. Our boys had some solid moments defensively, notably Jake Rogers with that lovely single to center in the 3rd inning, but we couldn't capitalize when it mattered most. Gleyber Torres reached base safely on an error, but again, it wasn't enough to ignite any offensive flame. Our lineup battled hard but the Blue Jays pitchers kept us mostly contained with their clever play.Blue Jays Surge Late
The Toronto team found their rhythm in the 8th and 9th innings which dug us into a hole too deep to escape. Home runs from Springer, Guerrero Jr., and Nathan Lukes really added a blow to our chances. On the bright side, we got ourselves on the scoreboard thanks to Riley Greene grounding out and bringing Rogers home in the bottom of the 9th - a gritty effort to prevent a complete shutout. We'll keep our chins up and prepare for the next game!

Keep cheering for our Tigers, we've seen them bounce back many times before!
