However, things exploded in the top of the 3rd inning when Vladimir Guerrero Jr. smashed a phenomenal two-run homer to bring us into the lead, scoring Nathan Lukes after his single to right field. After a solid performance by our pitching and defense holding off the Dodgers through the 6th inning, we expanded our lead with a fantastic 4-run 7th inning. Back-to-back singles from Andres Giménez and Bo Bichette brought in crucial runs before Addison Barger added one more, solidifying a commanding lead.
