Getting Off to a Slow Start

Hey, Blue Jays fans! 🎉 What a game we had against the Seattle Mariners! At first, it seemed like our bats might need some waking up. In the top of the 1st inning, George Springer and Nathan Lukes couldn't find their groove, and despite Vladimir Guerrero Jr. reaching second due to an infield single and an error, Anthony Santander struck out, leaving us scoreless.

The Mariners, however, got on the scoreboard early, with Julio Rodriguez hitting a home run. But no worries, our boys had something cooking. 😉

Turning Up the Heat

In the top of the 3rd, we exploded with a power performance! 😎 Ernie Clement doubled, and Andres Gimenez tied the game with a two-run homer. Varsho's double brought in more, pushing us to a 5-2 lead by the end of the inning. Adding fuel to the fire, Springer and Guerrero Jr. went deep in the following innings. Springer's solo shot and Vlad's blasts continued to stretch our lead. 💥

But the real highlight came in the 6th inning when Alejandro Kirk smashed a three-run homer, making it 12-2. That boy was on fire! 🌟

Closing It Out in Style

The Mariners tried to rally in the 8th with homers from Randy Arozarena and Cal Raleigh, but the Jays remained composed. Addison Barger answered back with a beautiful 414-foot homer in the top of the 9th, widening the final lead to 13-4. Our closing pitcher Fluharty’s steady arm sealed the game as we wrapped up a solid victory on the road. 🎊

With Guerrero Jr., Kirk, and Gimenez leading an impressive offensive display, and our pitchers holding strong, it was a satisfying display of teamwork and skill. Enjoy the win, fellow Jays fans! Can't wait to see what our boys will do in the next game! Until then, let's keep the celebratory vibes going. Go Jays Go! 💙⚾
